Do not visit the gym to take tips from the big guys with huge muscles if you struggle to put on weight to gain muscle!
You must be saying you are crazy, why not, they have all the gains?
Well you see, body building is not just about visiting the gym to lift very heavy weights 500 times!
There is a science aspect of it!
Everyone is different; we all have different types of bodies and genes.
How many times haven’t you witnessed a friend who has been carrying the heaviest weights in the gym since the 80’s, drinks all the so called body mass protein shakes but never gets bigger?
But we all know that ‘one friend’ who doesn’t eat that much, doesn’t really spend too many hours in the gym, yet has the body you dream of?
You see, there are guys who would eat just dry bread the whole day, hit the gym and still pack on huge muscles in a week!

I used to be very, very skinny and too skinny for my height.

My aim for researching wasn’t to be Mr.Muscle, get a ripped body, very huge arms, six packs, chiseled chest etc.
I only wanted to gain weight!
So I didn’t really follow the guide religiously but still saw massive improvements and gains.
I am not claiming to be Mr.Muscle but I am far more big than I used to be.

Initially, I weighed around 70 to 75kg, currently I’ve packed on additional body mass of 15 to 20 kg!
The last time I visited the hospital for check up, my weight was 91kg!
And there were even concerns of overweight by the nurses.
Not to say I’m fat but you are overweight if your weight is not proportional to your height.
The right weight for a 6’3 is 90kg, so I am slightly above that.
This is me now, still big head, hehe but with a bigger body:
I am 6 foot 3, and 91 kg is over the limit for 6’3.
So you could still be overweight without having the fat to show for it.
You only have to exercise regularly and make sure your blood pressure is low, then you are good to go.
There are a lot of overweight but healthy athletes.
You name them; the boxers, wrestlers etc.
World heavy weight champion Anthony Joshua weighs 113kg and he is 6 foot 6 tall, Wladmir Klitschko weighs 109kg and he is also 6 ft 6 tall, David Haye weighs 102kg and he is 6 ft 3 tall( very overweight), Tony Bellew weighs 97kg and he is 6 ft 2 tall, The Rock weighs 118kg and he is 6ft 5 tall, Brock Lesnar weighs 120kg and he is 6ft 3(also very overweight) etc.
Now at 91kg and 6 ft 3 tall, my next target is 100kg!
I am going to follow my training routine and diet plan strictly soon to pack on more body mass.
Time to go harder!
So back to those days when I started seeing changes, those compliments made me really happy as people finally noticed my efforts.
Everywhere I went, people who knew me before had their eyes wide opened; “you make big o, waye kesie o”.
To which I always replied: “enye kesie o, eye muscles!” hehe which means this is not fat, it is muscle.
I am now used to the compliments and I don’t even follow the program strictly now but I am still not the skinny guy I used to be. Friends are used to my new physique now since it has been long since I found out this secret.
